HP Inc. is looking to help its partners enter a new phase of data-driven growth with the launch of the HP Amplify Data Insights offering, according to Christoph Schell, chief commercial officer of the PC and printer giant. Launched Wednesday as part of HP’s Reinvent 2021 Partner Virtual Conference, Amplify Data Insights aims to provide partners with valuable insights that can be used to help increase sales with new and existing customers. The program requires partners to agree to share their own data, then combines partner data with other sources, including HP data and third-party research. Offer now available to Power Tier partners of the HP Amplify Partner Program

The launch of Amplify Data Insights is also timely given the continued shortage of PC supply, which has made planning ahead more necessary than ever. The offering can provide predictive information to partners that can help anticipate future customer needs, which is especially useful in an environment where supply is limited, Schell said.

“This platform is going to give our partners a lot more information on how business is going to plan. And the more they can predict that, the better, ”he said. “Engaging our ecosystem of partners and customers into demand planning is where the opportunity lies in this environment. “

In an interview last week at HP headquarters in Palo Alto, Calif., Schell provided more details on Amplify Data Insights and how HP is approaching the PC supply situation – which stems from a shortage of key components such as semiconductors as well as a massive supply chain disruption.
